Creating art to preserve the beauty of the earth, the sky, and the sea is what inspires me to persevere in my practice. Each of my current paintings functions as a piece of the garden of life—a slice, a single petal, from an entire flower, a flowering bush, and as a part of a greater whole of the land, sea, earth, and skyscape.
