In Figureworks, each person that I depict represents a singular component of the various communities which inhabit the earth. In capturing the figure in time, space, and vibrant color, I aim to create a connection and a communication to that individual’s spirit.
Their singular mood, gesture, and presence enlivens the painting’s surface.
